Moraine lake is a glacial fed lake in Banff NP and it's situated in the beautiful Valley of the Ten Peaks. The view of the lake from the top of the rockpile is one of the most photographed locations in all of Canada.
Also the iconic image of Moraine Lake and the Valley Of The Ten Peaks was used on the back of Canadian twenty dollar bills issued between 1969 and 1979.
